report: Hanami Party

As part of our networking events, Tokyo Global Society held its first Hanami Party at Shinjuku-gyoen park last Saturday.
We were blessed with great weather- it was a sunny day and the cherry blossoms were at their best!
5 groups of 5-6 were formed to start the conversation going and we went to buy lunch.
Each group had a small discussion of what to buy and eat. We had a great turnout- people from the U.S., Netherlands, Japan, Taiwan and many other countries!
Sometimes the conversation got serious…
TGS social event can provide the place for people with different backgrounds to talk together.
